Heard that old saying that Independents can’t achieve anything? I’m so pleased to have Picton High School Hall refurbishment back on track now, thanks to some advocacy from the teachers and students.
I was delighted to have The Premier, Chris Minns visit the school this week following the Deputy Premier, Prue Car MP, the Minister for Education, visit Picton High School in early November 2023. The Premier visited our school to announce that the remaining work on the multipurpose hall would be completed by Day 1 of Term 3, subject to weather conditions. An exact date for completion and handover will be shared with the community once the builder has finalised the works program.
The construction of the Picton High School hall, which had been left incomplete, is now underway. A new builder has been engaged, and a detailed works program will soon be finalised. The site will be prepared for construction to restart in the coming weeks.
